I was introduced to the concept of Internet Marketing in May 2007 during World Internet Summit Singapore. Was totally blown off by the ideas being introduced. I started off like a wild horse, dabbling into different types of Internet Tools.
I was totally overwhelmed.
I was totally excited.
I was totally frustrated as I do not know what to focus on. (There are million and one things)
BUT I learnt many things which are totally not what most gurus mention:
There is no such thing as being a millionaire overnight!
It is not as easy as perceived to have a online income BUT it is true that anyone can achieve passive income in any niches (aka fields of INTEREST)
Note: I mention field of INTEREST. The niche which you choose to spend your time and sweat in must be an area you are 100% passionate about NOT primarily for $ but to make differences (small and huge) in tens, hundreds and thousands of life locally and globally.
It takes effort and consistency, definitely the right set of objectives to share and help too.
Only then will you be rewarded for your effort. I got this Google Adsense primarily for my passion in spreading what I know best in - Mathematics tips and strategies to help students, parents and educators to enhance their learning and teaching journey. Yes! It took my 1 year to earn a cheque from Google. I will be sharing in my Adsense journey in my post later.
Meanwhile, to everyone out there, Adsense is true! and ANYONE can achieve what you want as long as we perserve on to our goals!
Internet can make you a millionaire if your desire is real strong and firm. I watch the nextinternetmillionaire.com episdoe and am trully inspired by the participants attitude , mindset and the courage… i was inspired by Joel Comm and Mark as well, Great Teachers we should learn from!
If you have noticed, I was absent from MSN for this weekend! Haha, this time round, I’m not down with viral stuff but rather I was @ Singapore Expo attending a seminar, World Internet Mega Summit! Wow, it was amazing. I never know that I do not know so much! Frankly I thought I knew a bit on Internet Marketing but these 2 days proved me wrong! I learnt so much from the GURUS. People who have made it there; Tom Hua, Brett, Stephen Pierce, Jay Abraham, Armand Morin. It’s half of the seminar only and I was already pretty overwhelmed. What really impressed me was that there are so many people out there especially ladies whom I saw at the event. I guess I was having an incorrect assumption that women arent that interested in Internet Marketing in short IM, rather they would prefer to go IMM! Haha you know the megamart @ the West Part of Singapore which underwent some major revamp! IT’s a cool place now.
All right, so much said,those who know me well, I’m someone who’s most willing to share good “lobangs”. (Great Deals) .I’m in fact going to share some of useful and valuable knowledge that I learnt in the event.
